Features

The following features make xBar network a great alternative for building real world applications.

Trusted Governance

We use Hedera as our point of trust. This makes sure that any transactions cannot be reversed by evil actors. It is run by several multinational corporations we know and already trust with our information.

Fast Consensus

Because this network is run by already-trusted participants, it is able to run much faster. Unlike Ethereum and other networks, which must build trust models that require a lot of validation and verification, Hedera simply validates information at about 1000x the speed.

Tokens and smart contracts

We chose to start with Ethereum as it contains the majority of tokens able to benefit from Hedera’s fast consensus.

Trusted Execution Environments

Google StrongBox and Intel SGX are two common environments to execute code. They provide provable and verifiable code execution "stamps" to securely verify data. This removes the need to trust users and other parties to validate information.

Multi-Party Computation

Nodes support joint computation and consensus over information which allows the network to withstand wrong information entered by evil nodes.

Distributed Autonomous Organizations (DAO)

xBar network roles vary in the DAO and provide different features and rewards. All participants must engage in helping the contracts continue to validate information in order to maintain a healthy network state. DAOs provide a mechanism to centralize group's activity under a clear reward based system.

Token Bridges

The core technology this network powers is cross-chain transactions as we believe interoperability will enable blockchains like trains enabled cities.

Stake-able Consensus

The xBar network will support a stake-based consensus algorithm to incentivize skin in the game actors.
